Our involvement in the wonderful world of French Bulldogs
It all began in 1986 when after a year of searching we bought our first frenchie, Oliver. Michael was born and bred in Cardiff, Wales and as a young lad owned various dogs including Welsh Springer Spaniels, Cocker Spaniels and then two French Bulldogs, one after the other. The frenchies were Michael's favourite and when we decided to get a dog, Michael insisted that it be a French Bulldog. No other breed would do. We had no thoughts about showing let alone breeding but somehow we became caught up in the wonderful world of showing and breeding French Bulldogs.
French Bulldogs have become a way of life for us, they are our passion. Liz is an international breed specialist judge and is also licensed to judge the non-sporting group. Michael is an award winning writer having won the 2003 Dog Writers Association of America Maxwell Award for his regular column in The French Bullytin magazine. He is a bibliographer and breed historian. Over the last twenty years our journey with the dogs has taken us further than we could have ever imagined.
We do hope you enjoy your visit with us and our frenchies.
